Carl Schmitt is the forgotten philosopher of National Socialism, Carl Schmitt (July 11, 1888 – April 7, 1985) was a German jurist, philosopher of politics and religion, political theorist, and professor of law.
Schmitt joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1933. Within days of joining the party, Schmitt was party to the burning of books by Jewish authors, rejoicing in the burning "un-German" and "anti-German" material, and calling for a much more extensive purge, to include works by authors influenced by Jewish ideas. I checked all 1,124 outbound links for titles beginning with the letters I-P for breakages this afternoon and only found five. That's a breakage percentage of less than 1/2 percent. I was able to fix all five of them by finding suitable replacements to the resources they linked to.
